NC Gets Green Jobs Stimulus Grant

WASHINGTON — North Carolina will receive more than $1 million in American Recovery and Reinvestment Act green jobs competitive grants.
The Employment Security Commission of North Carolina will receive $946,034 to collect, analyze and publicize information about green jobs. In addition, Telamon Corporation, a Raleigh non-profit, will receive a $100,000 grant to boost green industry training.
